BMW R nineT Café Racer Kit from Dab Design

.

With a background in the emerging industries of 3D Printing and 3D software publishing, Simon Dabadie of Dab Design based in France is quickly establishing himself as an innovator in the world of custom motorcycles.

BMW introduced the BMW R nineT for easy customization.  This café racer kit from Dab Design is entirely different from the hundreds of retro themed machines that we’ve seen before.

Comprising of 13 parts that bolt on to the original BMW’s mounting points, the ER Kit is a must have for anyone wanting to take their R nineT to the next level.

Simon has designed the ER Kit (Enhanced Racer) as a bolt-on Café racer kit for the R nineT.  Existing of 13 parts that bolt on to the original BMW’s mounting points, the ER Kit is sure to produce an exclusive, rare, and head-turning custom with basic hand tools.  Simon is currently taking pre-orders for the kit through his Indiegogo campaign, in order to raise funds for the manufacturing costs.

Simon says:  “With all these emerging technologies, I set myself the challenge of customizing motorcycles in a totally antagonistic way to the old school spirit, integrating new technologies into the creative process. This is how Dab Design was born. The desire to create exclusive motorcycles in a very specific way.”

The kit features a new fork head and support, new fenders, side covers, the rear seat cowl, and of course, the front fairing. Dab Design’s kit also includes a new headlight and new LED DRLs. The bodywork comes in two material options: fiberglass or carbon fiber. If you want the fiberglass option, you can benefit from BMW Motorrad colors such as Black, Silver, Racer, and Pure. If you like the carbon fiber option, you can have it in gloss or a matte finish.

To get your hands on a kit, you’ll have to visit Dab Design.
